A conversation change agent is someone who has read the book or taken one of our courses and committed to making sure their conversations are worth having! It doesn't mean they never have critical or destructive conversations; we all "go below the line" sometimes. However, conversation change agents commit to practicing and growing their skills in tuning in (for self-awareness and self-management), asking generative questions, and using positive framing.

There are several pathways toward becoming a conversation change agent. Reading the book,Conversations Worth Having by Jackie Stavros and Cheri Torres, is a great way to get started. However, we have courses because people read the book and said, "This is really simple, but it's not so easy to practice on my own!" If you read the book and feel the same way, here are our training options:

• CWH Foundations Course is a 30-minute, on-demand training in 5 short videos plus a guidebook to help you apply the practices.
• On-Demand Conversation Bootcamp is a self-directed training. There are four modules, each with 4-5 short videos that guide you through application. A workbook is included.
• Live, virtual Conversation Bootcamp is a deep dive into practical application. This course includes and begins with the CWH Foundations Course. Then, you apply the practices on real world challenges and stuck conversations with others. The live, virtual bootcamp is offered twice a year and can be offered privately for groups of 5 or more in organizations or schools.  
• CWH Certification is a program for those who are Conversation Change Agents and want to help us increase the population of conversation change agents by offering CWH training.

Conversation change agents report an overall improvement in their lives, with positive outcomes in the areas of relationships, wellbeing, and workplace success. Here's a partial list:

We recommend your start with the CWH Foundations Course. This 30-minute, self-directed course will jumpstart you into conversations worth having. From there, you can decide if you want to get more involved in the CWH Community or just be a rogue conversations change agent. Either way, we welcome you!
