Alexandra (Ally) Stavros is committed to bringing strengths-based approaches to planning, leading, and operating to public service and helping leaders tackle today's challenges through collaboration. Ally currently serves as a management analyst within the U.S. Department of Energy's National Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA), where she supports national security initiatives. Her work sits at the intersection of foreign affairs, technology, and national security.

Ally is an active contributor to the Appreciative Inquiry (AI) community. She has co-authored several articles, including Frontiers in Psychology and Appreciative Inquiry Practitioner: International Journal of AI. She presented on a panel at the World Appreciative Inquiry Conference (WAIC) in South Africa. She holds dual certifications in Conversations Worth Having and Strategic Conversations through the David L. Cooperrider Center for Appreciative Inquiry and the Conversations Worth Having Institute.

Previously, Ally has held roles across federal and state government, including with the U.S. Army, the Executive Office of Governor Gretchen Whitmer, the U.S. Department of State, and the U.S. Agency for International Development. In these positions, she has facilitated stakeholder engagements, conducted policy research, supported strategic planning efforts, and contributed to initiatives ranging from defense workforce modernization to higher education policy reform, and conflict prevention.

Ally earned a Master of Public Policy from the University of Michigan Gerald R. Ford School of Public Policy, specializing in international security, and a Bachelor of Arts in International Studies from the University of Michigan.
